SlovenčinaDepartment of Forest Economics and Management provides teaching at the Faculty of Forestry, Faculty of Ecology and Environmental Studies and at the Technical University in the field of sectoral economics. The department is the founder and supervisor of the University study programme Economics and Management of Natural Resources.
High applicability
Modern Study Programs Economics and Management of Natural Resources integrate science fields aimed at the preparing experts for the management and financing of renewable natural resources. Graduates gain knowledge of forestry, wood processing and woodworking related to the management, marketing, economics, finance and management.
Cooperation with practice
We emphasize linking theory with practice. Some of the lectures include presentations of practitioners to enable students to learn more about the real functioning of enterprises in the field of renewable natural resources.
Department provide
Under the responsibility of the Department of Forest Economics and Management, accredited study programs Economics and Management of Natural Resources are provided in all three levels of study.
